A basic carousel slideshow using just a basic code of vanilla javascript was the first bit of javascript I wrote. No Jquery involved which you will find on most templates. This slideshow may be very basic but nonetheless works if you are after the rudimentary basics of a carousel slideshow without having to link it up with some kind of Jquery or bootstrap framework. I looked for some time to find a javascript code that I could just put into a html page rather than having to add more pages of jquery just for a slideshow. On most bootstrap themes you will find that this is the case. While building my own web site I was after a bit of simple code that I could place into the index HTML page so I wrote this out. It may seem basic but does work and you can always add to it to add further elements.
